We caught up with one of our Liverpool office businesses, Major Healthcare, to find out more about their business, why they chose Business First and how it's working out for them.

What does your business do?

We are one of the leading independent recruitment providers in the North West for health and social care professionals. We have branches in Liverpool and Manchester for permanent and temporary positions.

What is your business called?

Major Healthcare is a subdivision of Major-Recruitment, we have 17 businesses and employ over 200 people across our network.

How did you hear about Business First offices in Liverpool?

Google, we had seen the reviews and thought we would take a look for ourselves. We gave them a call and booked in that afternoon to view.

Why did you decide to operate from our offices?

When we arrived we were greeted by the manager who showed us round the sleek boardrooms and a spacious available office that was perfect for our operations. We now have a training room with a profiling bed and hoist inside our office that we can use to train our own staff.

Our clients are also able to have use of this facility too for all their in-house training needs.

How long have you been at Business First?

We have now been at Business First for 3 Months and business is great, we are on-site with many of our clients on our doorstep and have grown our permanent and temporary team. How big is your office?

We have a 1000sqft office, it is bright and spacious, with another branch in Manchester Trafford Park.

What benefits do you get from operating from Business First?

Commuting is a breeze - many of our staff and candidates are local, and not being city centre-based makes us more accessible, there is also free parking on site for all our visitors.

Do you make use of the free facilities at Business First?

Yes, the car park and kitchen areas are a bonus.

How has Business First helped you to run your business successfully?

Having the Business First platform and networking opportunities on our doorstep in a great help.

What’s next for your business?

Continue growing both our Liverpool and Manchester branches, ending the year on a record high and going into 2019 with plenty of existing clients and the capacity to service a hell of a lot more. Watch this space…
