Inside Business First: Omega Resource Group

This week, our Inside Business First series, takes a look at Liverpool Business Centre tenants, Omega Resource Group, to find out a little bit more about them, what makes them tick and why they chose to base their business from Business First’s offices in Liverpool.

We caught up with the Branch Manager, Dianne Barlow, to find out more.

What is Omega Resource Group?

“Part of the Passionate about People Group – a group which provides the very latest in staffing resource solutions – Omega was founded in 1998, and is an award-winning recruitment company, which has been recognised as one of the most innovative privately owned resource solutions businesses in the UK.

“We believe our figures speak for themselves, our turnover has almost doubled in the last three years, going from £63m in 2015 to a projected £100m in 2017.”

So, what does your team in Business First’s Liverpool office space do?

“The team in Liverpool deal in both permanent positions and temporary contracts. The way we’re set up means that both our clients and our candidates are able to take advantage of the close relationships enjoyed with local businesses, whilst still getting the benefits of working with a national and international business as well.”

How long have you been here, and what attracted you to Business First?

“Around three years ago, we were in a position where we needed to find new premises for our Liverpool branch; Business First was recommended to us, so we came and had a look around.

“We were thoroughly impressed by both the facilities and the standard of service that were on offer, so we decided to move in. It’s also really close to a lot of our clients, which helps when we’re organising meetings with them.

“We have two offices within the business centre, they’re both state-of-the-art, well decorated, well lit, really lovely office spaces. And the Business Centre Manager, Adele, is fantastic, too.

“We’ve been here for three years now, and honestly, we love it.”

Which facilities are most important to you and your business?

“Well, there’s so much to choose from. There is more than enough parking, free parking, too. Which is a bonus! We use the free meeting and boardroom facilities a lot, to meet and entertain our clients. There’s even a free gym that, as tenants, we can use as much as we want.

“I think, if I had to choose, the most important thing for us is the location; being as close as we are to so many of our clients means that we can be on hand, immediately, to solve any problems that they might have.”

How has Business First helped to support the growth and success of your business?

“Basing our business from Business First’s offices in Speke, Liverpool, has helped us to grow in a number of ways.

“The staff are very professional, friendly and even help us to promote our business. If we have a particular event or service that we’re looking to promote, the marketing team at Business First are happy to send out mail shots to their contact and tenant lists for us, which is invaluable in helping us to reach a larger audience.

“And most probably most importantly, we have the utmost flexibility with the lease on our office space. We can up and down-size our offices as we need to, which is perfect for helping to facilitate the success and expansion that we encounter as a business.”

Finally, would you recommend Business First’s Liverpool office space to other companies?
