We caught up with Managing Director of Piper Music Management, Andrew Falconer, to find out more.

What’s does Piper Music Management do?

“We’re a music management company and music promoter. We work with bands and artists like: 911; Matt Cardle; Damage; Jake Quickenden; Jedward, and; Toploader.

We also work alongside various third parties to create events and online TV for global brands – on any scale and in any format. If you can imagine it, we can deliver it for you.”

How did you hear about Business First offices in Blackpool?

“Our accountants, Accounts UK, recommended Business First to us."

Why did you decide to operate your business from Business First’s offices in Blackpool?

“When we looked around, we were really impressed by the offices we were shown around – they had a much better set up than our previous offices. We were also really taken with the number of additional facilities that, as a tenant, we would have completely free access to.”

How long have you been at Business First, Blackpool and how big is your office?

“We’ve been here since March, we have a 500 sq ft office, and we couldn’t be happier. Our offices here at Business First, Blackpool are fantastic, the sense of community in the centre is a real bonus, and Hannah, the Business Centre Manager, is always on hand to help us with anything and everything.”

What benefits do you get from operating from Business First?

“The offices are lovely, the building itself is very modern and provides us with a great place to meet clients and anyone else who comes in for meetings with us – first impressions are very important in our line of work and Business First, Blackpool helps us provide a fantastic first impression.

"In addition, there is loads of free, on-site parking, which is always helpful, we have access to boardrooms and meeting rooms that we can use whenever we need to, and there are always great networking events taking place, that help us to meet new contacts.”

Do you use the free facilities at Business First?

“Yes, we use the boardrooms regularly. We, of course, make use of the excellent free parking, and we use the lovely, clean and tidy kitchens and other facilities pretty much every day, too.”

How has Business First helped you to run your business successfully?

“First and foremost, there is an ice cream van that comes around when the weather is good. This makes us very happy!

“On a serious note, though, we have a wonderful office in a professional and presentable environment that helps us to make an excellent and lasting impression on anyone who visits us. We have access to boardrooms when we need to hold meetings, we have the security of knowing that our lease is flexible, so if we need to upscale as our business grows, then we can.

“And also, any help we need with anything, Hannah is very quick to react to. We’re really confident, not only in the service that Business First provides, but also in the relationship we have with Hannah.”

What would you say is the best thing that Business First has done for your business?

“In all honesty, although the offices we have and the free facilities that we get to use are amazing, if we had to pick just one thing, it would probably be Hannah.

“She is helpful, friendly and professional. She always goes out of her way, not just for us, but for every business in here, and we honestly couldn’t ask for more when it comes to the person who greets our visitors and potential clients as they enter the building!”

And finally, would you recommend Business First’s offices in Blackpool to other SMEs?

“Without a shadow of a doubt. It’s a resounding yes. It’s simply a great place to run our business from!”
