Training providers SR Supply Chain Consultants have been based at our Preston business centre for the past decade, so it's time to catch up with them for a Q&A to find out why they love using our office space to run their business.

What does your business do? 

We are a training provider specialising in CIPS Training - which stands for the Chartered Institute for Procurement and Supply. We are also the largest provider of the Commercial Procurement and Supply Chain Apprenticeship Level 4.

Why did you decide to operate from our offices? 

As an SME training provider, having a modern office facility to operate from became a priority. Business First gave us that opportunity with competitive rates and established premises, where the facilities are modern and secure, as well as offering a great location and access.

How long have you been at Business First? 

Approximately 10 years. 

How big is your office? 

We have 5 offices!

What benefits do you get from operating from Business First?

The building is established, secure, fully maintained and managed which helps SMEs. We get to meet other SME businesses, it's in a good location with access to the M65 corridor. 

Having additional kitchen and professional boardroom facilities are good, we also utilise the storage facilities on site. 

Any issues and we have support from the Business First team and any improvements you make to the site we automatically benefit from.

How has Business First helped you to run your business successfully? 

As a specialist CIPS training provider, we require a range of facilities, such as office base, conferencing environment and refreshments area. A modern, maintained building with facilities management means we can concentrate on our business and what we do best. 

Business First Preston gives us this, alongside easy access from the M65 motorway, which is ideal for staff and clients, having reception staff who accept deliveries is useful, there's a good choice of office space has helped us to grow - and opportunities like this one, to feature on Business First's website and social media will hopefully introduce us to other potential clients or encourage referral business.

What would you say the best thing Business First has done for your business is? 

Business First has offered us more space as we have grown.
