Inside Business First: Tone Agency

Tone is a digital agency renting office space at our Burnley Business First centre. We sat down for a chat with David Redmond, head of sales and customer relations.

Tell us a little bit about Tone.

Tone is a modern lead generation agency, specialising in web design, SEO and digital marketing. We're experts in optimising a company's online presence to generate new business opportunities.

Who are your clients?

We've worked with clients like the Co-op, Expedia, Grosvenor Casinos, Mecca Bingo and FH Brundle.

How long have you been with Business First offices in Burnley?

We've been based here since we set up the business, five years ago.

Have you expanded since moving in?

Initially, we took a 250 sq ft office and we've gradually expanded into our "the penthouse" - our current, 1000 sq ft office unit.

Which Business First facilities do you use?

The size of our office unit means we have our own meeting space, but it's good to have boardroom facilities available if we need them.

Has working within a Business First community helped your business?

Tone has had quite a lot of business from within the centre, as a lot of tenants do. We're developing a new website for Connect Childcare. We also created a successful app for metal distributor, FH Brundle.

The ease and convenience of just popping downstairs and knocking on someone's door definitely beats driving into Manchester for a meeting.
