Meet the Team: Georgia-Kaye Berry, Centre Manager, Burnley

This week, in our Meet the Team series, we sat down to speak to Centre Manager of Business First's Burnley business centre, Georgia-Kaye Berry, to find out a little bit more about who she is and what she does at Business First and beyond.

As always, we asked some serious questions, and some pretty daft ones, too...

What's your full name and job title?

"Georgia-Kaye Berry, I'm the Centre Manager of the Burnley business centre."

What three words do you think best describe Business First?

"Absolutely flipping brilliant!"

What three words do you think best describe you?

"Quirky, sassy, witty."

What's the most challenging thing you've ever had to do whilst working here?

"The fire alarm test, every week. Running around this huge building in heels is exhausting."

What's your favourite film?

"My favourite film is Pretty Woman."

What's your proudest moment at Business First?

"We have one particular tenant who never had a good word to say about anyone, or anything. Not long after I started, I dealt with a problem she had, and as a result, she sent a lovely email to Sarah, explaining how pleased she was with me. It really did make me feel proud of myself."

What is an interesting, random fact about yourself?

"It took me five attempts to pass my driving test, and I only eventually passed in an automatic. So, watch out for me on the road! "

Do you have a work nickname? What is it?

"One of the tenants calls me Smiler because I'm literally always smiling."

What has been your most embarrassing moment at work?

"When I first started, I spent three months calling one girl Sally. Her boss eventually corrected me and told me she is, in fact, called Stacey."

What's your favourite place to travel to?

"It's got to be Amsterdam."

How do you define success?

"Being satisfied because you know you enjoy your job and always do your best, no matter what."

If a film was made of your life, who would you want to play you and why?

"Emilia Clarke - she's weird... in a good way."

If you could be any person in history for a day, who would it be and why?

"Queen Cleopatra, she was a sass queen!"

If you could interview any person in history, who would it be and why?

"Tom Hardy, to see if I could get a date."

If you could only drink one drink for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?

"Tea, because I can't go a day without it!"

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?

"Rare fillet steak, garlic butter potatoes and veg - because it's the best!"

If you could be any animal for a day, what animal would you be and why?

"Unicorn - pink, sassy and glittery!"

If you were stuck on a desert island and could only take three things with you

"My Mum, my best friend - Georgina, and Nivea Lip Butter. I can't live without any of them."

"Momma, Pappa, sister and two beautiful nieces."

What is your guilty pleasure?

"Keeping up with the Kardashians."

What's your favourite TV show?

"Peaky Blinders."

What's the oldest thing in your fridge?

"The light."

"Mind manipulation; that way I would always get what I want!"
